Graphics provide a counterbalance to previous emotionally coloured activities. It requires order and a rational approach. A child discovers the expressive means of graphic techniques as well as the obligatory chain of steps of individual graphic procedures. The main feature of graphics in art education is the reproduction of an artistic subject by hand printing.

Simple solutions in black and white design are common. Later, come multicolour concepts. All processes are encountered in free and utilitarian, promotional graphics.
Preparatory techniques
In the preparatory graphic techniques, a child encounters rubber printing, engraved drawing, uncovering technique on a wax base, drawn monotype, and games with imprints of various objects.
Printing from depth
In print-from-depth techniques, a child reproduces the mark left by a needle in a paper or plastic or metal matrix. These are paper cut and dry point techniques.
Printing from height
In print-from-height techniques we print from stencils, paper and material collage, we can use plaster and linocut.
Printing from the surface
For printing from surface we use monotype, i.e. printing of a single impression and screen printing. Of course, we also use contemporary techniques such as xerox graphics and computer graphics.
